Internal docs index
The portal is the developer-facing summary (code-derived). The repo’s docs/ folder is the deep archive — full design rationale, handoffs, strategy, gotchas — that the portal intentionally does not duplicate. This page is the single front door so nothing in the archive is orphaned. (Files live in the repo at docs/; see docs/README.md for the maintained index.)

Consolidation status
Section titled “Consolidation status”Per the Roadmap: the deep archive stays in docs/ (the portal can’t absorb it without losing detail). Only files that are 100% reflected in a portal page get archived as backup — and only after a per-file content check and updating the ~86 cross-references in agent memory. No mass deletion.
